Lindsey Richards, LPC, LMHC, NCC, is an individual counselor licensed in Georgia and Florida.
She has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Aging and Geriatric Practice from the University of Florida. Telehealth only provider.
Lindsey works with busy professionals who are often on the go. Whether you’re striving to create a balance at work or home, she’ll help guide you to find equilibrium. Additionally, Lindsey sees the importance of creating awareness around the underlying root of the problem; thus, allowing for you to work through challenges and create acceptance. She specializes in working with adults across the lifespan and works with those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, communication, men’s issues and body image. Lindsey finds great honor in walking beside her clients to help them develop strategies for coping and positive change. She is a telehealth only provider, all you will need to get set up is a video enabled phone, laptop, or tablet.
Her therapeutic alignment is eclectic, providing clients with a specialized approach tailored to their individualized needs. Her inquisitive nature allows her to use many diverse therapeutic approaches to identify the best fit for her clients’ needs. She uses principles grounded in mindfulness & meditation, emotional regulation, and inner child work to create healing. Her kind nature will allow you to feel welcome to process though life’s most challenging moments.
Throughout the past decade Lindsey has worked in many levels of care, from private practice to inpatient, which enables her to work with individuals struggling with an array of mental health concerns. She began counseling working with older adults, helping them process through the final chapter of life. During her time at the University of Florida she completed her clinicals at the Florida Recovery Center, while coordinating research studies at UF’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute & Institute on Aging. Over the past two years Lindsey has primarily worked in private practice.
