Morgan Somer, LMSW, is a passionate and dedicated therapist who obtained her graduate degree from Fordham University School of Social Services. Morgan specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues primarily utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive, and solution-focused therapies. Morgan has experience in working as an outpatient therapist in individual, family and group settings, including an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) specific to adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders.
Additionally, Morgan has spent the last few years as an outreach coordinator building relationships with various eating disorder and substance use providers and has led numerous educational workshops on eating disorders and body image. It’s Morgan’s mission to help patients identify the root of their struggles, and learn new healthier reflexes and coping mechanisms in order to manage their daily challenges.
