Stefanie Robison is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with clients suffering from a variety of issues including anxiety, obsessive thoughts/compulsions (OCD), eating disorders, addictions, relationship issues, and depression.
Stefanie's treatment approach is tailored to each individual's needs and typically incorporates a variety of different therapies to treat the specific issue(s). These therapies may include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Stefanie allows clients to feel relaxed and comfortable while providing a platform for them to feel understood. Stefanie creates a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment that allows clients to grow to their fullest potential. Stefanie’s ultimate goal is to assist clients in finding their inner strength and fostering their self-esteem.
Stefanie received her Bachelor's degree from Boston University and her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. She is currently affiliated with International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals of New York, American Counseling Association, as well as, Albert Ellis Institute.
Stefanie's work experience includes individual and group therapy with the Mental Health Association of New York City as well as Jersey City Medical Center in the Outpatient Children’s Behavioral Unit. Stefanie continues to supervise mental health counselors and consult with the Mental Health Association of New York City.
